Production process of animal feed can be divided into several stages
          Step 1: Raw Materials preparation, Receiving and Storing 

There are different types of raw materials for animal feed. This includes Maize, Sorghum, Wheat brain, Lime, Oil seed cakes like cotton, sesame, nigger, soya bean, Molasses, Vitamin and mineral additives etc… it is in these storage facilities from which the raw materials will be taken to the succeeding stages of the production line.

After weighted the raw materials, it will be added in to suck dump in order to be transported and mixed through screw conveyor which transport the raw material to hammer mill and surge hooper.

          Step 2: Feed premixing and Grinding Process

Depending on the variety of feed and the fineness requirement specifications, the process of grinding raw materials is done accordingly. Then the ungrounded but mixed materials arrive at the gate of miller and according to the size of sieves and speed of the mill rotor  the material arrived will be crushed, grounded, mixed and de-lumped then directly flows down to the gate of  the second screw in turn mixed and transported with ungrounded raw materials.

          Step 3: Surging pre ground and mixed

All The materials transferred to surge Hooper except liquid and micro nutrient, surge Hooper surges the materials until the mixer releases the preceding batch.

          Step 4: Feed Mixing Process

All the feed components are blended with respect to the feeds formula by horizontal paddle mixer which always run to receive the materials from the surge Hooper, Molasses/ liquid add system and hand add micro nutrients. The paddle with rubber tip makes easier all mixing process throughout its residence time without minute left over. The plumber will de-plume the agglomerated particles while in the mixing process then the mixer discharges the compound feed to mix receiving Hooper to transport the feed gently without de-mixing.

           Step 5: Mix receiving and transporting process

The mixed feed received and transported through the screw conveyor which further helps to control agglomeration, de-mixing and de-lumping.

          Step 6: Product receiving

Product silo receives the product from the mix receiving screw conveyor.

          Step 7: Product Rectification

   Mashed feed type: mashed feed is the easiest solid feed form that can be manufactured. It only consists of grinding and mixing all raw materials in to the correct amount to meet nutritional requirements of the animals. 

   Pelleted feed type: feed pelleting is a conversion of finely ground mash feed in to dense, free flowing pellets or capsules, in a process that involves moisture, heat and mechanical pressure.

  Crumbled and Flacked: crumbled feed is a type of feed prepared at the mill by pelleting of the mixed ingredients and then crushing a pellet to a consistency coarser than mash.

   Floating Fish feed: floating feed floats on the water surface due to law bulk density, air sacs in extruded feed, low moisture, water stability and other extrusion properties.

        Step 8: Measuring and Packing process

After this process, you can get finished feed which is highly suitable for animals then measuring and packing machines are available for the finished feed to be measured and packed.
